First Crennel, Now Wies?

LaCanfora: ‘Chiefs Are Most Likely Landing Spot For Weis’
Posted by: Patrick Allen

Man, I run out to pick up some beer and I come back and the Chiefs are closing in on their new offensive coordinator. You may remember, just over an hour ago we told you Adam Shefter reported that Romeo Crennel is likely to be the Chiefs next defensive coordinator. Well, not to be outdone, ason LaCanfora is reporting that Charlie Weis could be filling the role of Offensive Coordinator.

From LaCanfora’s Twitter feed:

“Continue to hear the most likely landing spot for Charlie [Weis] is as the offensive coordinator of the Chiefs.”

What do you think Addicts? Do you like the possibility of a Pioli, Haley, Crennel and Weis team?

I think Haley has learned a lot and next season the Chiefs will be much improved. If he brings in those two coordinators I will be very optimistic. I would love to see things turn around and Haley be here for the next 10 years or so. I think he can do it.
Who is making this rumored decision to hire Weis/Romeo... Haley or Fat Scott?

First of all, how many years are we gonna let this egomaniacal golfer push this franchise into a black hole before we can call him a failure? I would expect that he didn't hamstring this team by believing he could be the offensive coord., QB coach of an inexpierienced QB, and the head coach at the same time. Haley has made about a zillion mistakes because he doesn't know what the hell he is doing. He has all of the Ego and rudeness of Bellichick and Parcells without any of their talent or success. True this team was in a downward spiral when he took it over, but he has cut off the wings and set it on fire and you think it is any better?
Second of all, because my opinion is different than yours, i should die? Really a**wipe? How ****ing stupid can i be? Hey brave typer, why don't you put your money where your candy ass is? Let's have a drink...

Adding BOTH Crennel and Weis would be a coup for this organization.
And it would extend the life of Haley's tenure here in Kansas City.

Maybe Weis can coach up Cassel like he did with Clausen.

I'm not advocating it. That's a lot of jack to tie up between 2 QB's.
Cassel's your guy for at least 1 more year.

He'll be the QB for a few years I imagine Pioli will make a move to add a big play WR. Going by the Patriots formula one of the 2nd round picks will be traded for a WR.

After a season filled to the brim with miscues on both sides of the ball, Kansas City is seemingly set to completely overhaul their coaching staff underneath head coach Todd Haley with the additions of two former New England coordinators in Romeo Crennel and Charlie Weis.

Multiple sources are reporting that Crennel will be the Chiefs new defensive coordinator, with an announcement potentially coming from the team this week. The current coordinator in Kansas City, Clancy Pendergast, has been under fire for most of the season and is not expected to be retained. Crennel was most recently the head coach in Cleveland, before being fired at the end of the 2008 season. He has been out of football for the entirety of this year after undergoing hip surgery during the off-season.

Weis has been linked to the position with the Chiefs since his dismissal from the Notre Dame head coaching position in November of last year, along with several other potential job openings around the league. The connection between the two is expected to intensify though, especially after NFL.com analyst Jason LaCanfora reported this morning (via Twitter) that he believes Kansas City will be the eventual landing spot for Weis.

Why are you obsessed with calling him "Fat Scott?" Do you have some kind of phobia with overweight people? It makes you sound like even more of an idiot than your posts do otherwise.
