I dont care about his amazing passes if he couldn't put together enough short, long, amazing or whatever passes to get his team in the endzone. 17 points in the Superbowl is not a spectacular performance. 31 points on the other hand, with a practically non existent running game to take the pressure of Dwight Freeney off of you is spectacular.

Peyton Manning basically sat out the 2nd quarter...

and he had 1.5 drives in the 3rd quarter...1 of them resulting in a TD...

the reason the Colts had such a high T.O.P. WAS...like usual...

every one of their drives was super clock consuming...I think they punted once (Garcon drop)...

Peyton Manning's TEAM managed to put up 7 points in 3 quarters...I'll give you taht.
