and he had 1.5 drives in the 3rd quarter...1 of them resulting in a TD...

the reason the Colts had such a high T.O.P. WAS...like usual...

every one of their drives was super clock consuming...I think they punted once (Garcon drop)...

Peyton Manning's TEAM managed to put up 7 points in 3 quarters...I'll give you taht.
You know why Manning sat out the second quarter? The Colts had 2 possessions in the second quarter. They managed 6 plays. If Mr. "Flawless" was able to move the ball on that first possession, then maybe they could have taken their momentum from the first quarter and put the game away. Then, how about the end of the quarter? As great as Manning is, you think he could have managed a first down to keep the Saints from getting the ball back and scoring a field goal. But no. He went 3 and out, allowing the Saints a short field and 3 points that they should never have had a chance to get.

well I have no respect for someone's opinion when they didn't watch the game...because clearly you weren't watching

There's no need to debate this. The fact there are people out there who feel this tainted his reputation as the best quarterback ever PROVES it has influenced people's opinion of him.

If the question is if it changed people's opinion on whether or not he's the greatest of all time, the answer HAS TO BE yes. The fact there's any debate over it whatsoever proves it did to a certain extent.

If you're debating whether it was a fluke or indication of his performance on an epic level, only time will tell. The only purpose debating it fulfills is our own personal pleasure.

um, he neither runs the ball or catches it. Garcon's drop was the play of the game. He catches that (perfect) pass and they go up 17-0.

That WAS a huge drop. But no way does that cost them the game. It happened way too early. I'd say Manning throwing a pick6 with 3:something left in the game while driving to tie it is quite a bit more devastating.

Follow Austin Collie on this play, and pause at 17 seconds.

Then tell me that the INT was anyone but Manning's fault.

It looks like Wayne runs a crappy route. I'm not sure how it is Manning's fault any more than his.

That said, as a former N.O. resident and life-long Saints fan, I'd like to point out that is was an amazing defensive play that resulted from hours and hours of film study.

A curl? A curl? What's crappy about running a curl route just beyond the sticks to get a first?

Manning f'ed up by throwing to the wrong fugging guy. Watch the tape. It's screamingly obvious.

And I agree, great job Saints, but that pick is NOT on the WR.
