Bout sick of this Kendall batting 2nd shit too. IT AINT WORKING!!!
Someone needs to kneecap Kendall. I'm sick of seeing him starting every ****ing game. He is 1-26 in his last 26 AB's. Meanwhile Pena's last AB he hit a double. And we need to get Betemit some playing time as well. That guy can hit, or so it seems. 4-8 with 2 doubles and 2 HR's.

The descent of Kendall to the Berroa meter is continuing....as I expected. Yuni's descent will start soon.

Splitt in the booth all three games against the Astros. He sounds good so far in the pregame.

That was a good article. Especially the part about DDJ. I really, really don't see the need for this team to trade him. He is a person this team can use to build on. If you trade away your best player you just start all over again, imo. He is more than deserving of the higher contracts we have shelled out for lesser players, so there should be no issues about paying him. And as Rany says, if we did trade DDJ it would more than likely hurt the team. That tells me trading him is stupid.

First game I get to watch this year. The Astros announcers kind of blow (worse the LeFevre believe it or not). I watch them every once in while because I need to get my baseball fix. They have been playing some ugly baseball this season... not like I'm not used to that, though.

Well, this is odd and worrying.

Mike Montgomery is done today after 3 2/3 innings. Only 56 pitches, 1 walk, 2 hits and 1 run given up, seemed to be doing fine in a tie game. No idea why he got pulled so early, hopefully he's OK.

cool.

I might lag behind a bit on the updates, gotta finish laundry. Hopefully the 2nd inning is dull with nothing interesting to miss.

edit: looks like its not ready yet, so 3rd or 4th inning.

I agree with Rany, DDJ is rather underrated. I'd guess primarily due to his past injuries. But the guy is a good, solid baseball player and we need to keep him on this team. If we are truly trying to build a team that can compete why would you trade him and what would you trade him for? And more over, how could you trade him without hurting the team?

I do not want to see him traded for guys we hope will be ready 3-5 years from now. That would just be stupid.
