It was apparent what a great OL could do in that game. Montana was pressured but watching those guys protect him was awesome.
Oh, and I forgot how much fun it was to watch the DT/Smith combo in action. Even Dumbdorf, Michaels, and Gifford realized they were witnessing something really special that doesn't come around very often. |

I watched it last night too (DVR'd it); first time I've seent it. I've always seen highlights of the final TD catch etc, but never saw the entire game.
man...that was a great game. one thing I enjoyed was the lack of WWF/WWE dances after player makes a routine play/tackle as evident in the games today. And I liked that the uniforms actually got dirty....and players wore real pads for their positiosn (no LBs wearing kicker pads). ..and I forgot how damn good Elway was.
