I went there and looked, but couldn't find any compelling reason to sign up.

What can you tell me that would entice me to sign up?

The best way to think about it is as a tool... it tracks your NFL predictions so that you don't have to find them in some random thread to prove you knew what you were talking about... if THAT isn't enough reason, the other reason is because whoever scores the highest in the Chiefsplanet group will win a signed Chiefs helmet.

Just curious, whose signature are we talking about on the helmet?

I was thinking this the other day. You know it's AC's signature.

ha, well BESIDES my signature, it will have a real Chief signature as well. either someone current or one of the "greats" like Len Dawson or some such.

BTW, there is still time to join and play... this competition isn't as time dependent like normal fantasy football or Pick Ems...

I guess for me, when it comes to new ways to bullshit about football I'm less "why?" and more of a "why not?" kind of guy. It's easy to sign up for and a lot of consistent posters from here have accounts so it will likely drive discussion on the board. It's something you can "set and forget" so it won't take up time like fantasy football. Plus the sky's the limit on how creative you want to get with your predictions, which is bound to end in hilarity.

Makes sense.
