MAKE YOUR NFL PREDICTIONS HERE (and win a signed Chiefs Helmet!)

Ok, I mentioned a few weeks ago that my buddy had an NFL prediction tracking site in BETA. Well, it is now LIVE and ready to roll.

I have setup a Chiefsplanet group ...

So feel free to sign up and make predictions about players, teams or anything actually. The system will even let you create fully CUSTOM predictions so you can predict which Raider will get arrested first this year!

If any of you guys post on other boards and want to start a group there or just share the URL ( www.statstick.com ) Please do!

It's a completely FREE site and it would be cool for it to have a large enough user base to be relevant.

Thanks!

EDIT: Check in here and ask for an invite and I will email it to the address on file here with CP
EDIT: EDIT: OK The site owner agreed that if we can get 75+ of us in the CP group, whoever has the highest score at season's end will win a Signed Chiefs Helmet (just a reminder: it's a totally free site and the owner is my college buddy who actually help set THIS site up 11 years ago)
EDIT: EDIT: EDIT: We now have a group passcode just enter chiefsplanet to join the group!

I'm in AC...

It's an awesome site, man. You really thought of everything. I can see me wasting monumental amounts of time there. Is it mobile friendly? I haven't tried logging in yet with the cell.

I made like 160 predictions and it only took 15 minutes. Pretty sweet setup, man.

You guys should really check it out.

I think people get too used to ignoring stickies. There's no other rational explanation that so many people who love football and spend this much time on the internet wouldn't sign up for this.

and think of the bragging rights when your wild ass predicitions come true! No more digging for an old post to show you did indeed predict that Stanzi would win a playoff game for the Chiefs in 2012, it can be right there!

ok guys, our group is at 25 members... I think we may qualify it we can just hit 50 members... nice thing is.. there is no arbitrary deadline (like tomorrow!) since the way this system works, you can jump in mid-season and compete as well as anyone who was here from the beginning (ok, that's not true if someone was here from the beginning AND got every prediction correct... but that's not a likely scenario)

I went there and looked, but couldn't find any compelling reason to sign up.

What can you tell me that would entice me to sign up?

The best way to think about it is as a tool... it tracks your NFL predictions so that you don't have to find them in some random thread to prove you knew what you were talking about... if THAT isn't enough reason, the other reason is because whoever scores the highest in the Chiefsplanet group will win a signed Chiefs helmet.

I guess for me, when it comes to new ways to bullshit about football I'm less "why?" and more of a "why not?" kind of guy. It's easy to sign up for and a lot of consistent posters from here have accounts so it will likely drive discussion on the board. It's something you can "set and forget" so it won't take up time like fantasy football. Plus the sky's the limit on how creative you want to get with your predictions, which is bound to end in hilarity.

Makes sense.

Just curious, whose signature are we talking about on the helmet?

I was thinking this the other day. You know it's AC's signature.

ha, well BESIDES my signature, it will have a real Chief signature as well. either someone current or one of the "greats" like Len Dawson or some such.

BTW, there is still time to join and play... this competition isn't as time dependent like normal fantasy football or Pick Ems...
