How do you feel now about Sanchez and Freeman at QB?

Suppose the Chiefs would have drafted either of these guys instead of aquiring Cassel. Would they have a better record right now? Are Sanchez or Freeman truly the type of "transcendent" QB talent to will a team to victory? They are probably better than Cassel, but "how much" better?

But he just needs to learn.

This is Cassholes 4th year as a starter, we expect more.

Sanchez is not progressing. He cannot carry a team. Put him on the Chiefs and we are no better or a **** hair better. No way.

Just stay down bitch.
No. The Chiefs beat the Chargers in the first game last year because the Chargers ST laid an egg. Did you even watch the game? Rivers threw for 300 yards and 2 TD's.

I agree he needs to learn but seriously... he has potential just like everyone else coming out of the draft. He's not close to a top ranked QB yet.

Rivers is one of the top QBs in the league. He is in our division and has owned it for 4 out of the past 5 years if you haven't noticed. Did you not see what he did last year with all the injuries he had around him? Freeman is an up and coming QB and hasn't proven anything yet. Until then, one would be stupid to pick Freeman over Rivers. Even now with Rivers almost being 30 years old. I know Rivers is 3-4 in the playoffs and he is gonna get another crack at it this year. But wait until Freeman actually takes his team to the playoffs to decide you'd rather have him than Rivers, JMO.

He is not close to being a middling QB right now.

Shit, I thought we were talking about Sanchez. (What I get for seeing quotes and assuming, my bad).

If you are talking Freeman, I am all in. I would take him in a heartbeat though yes he is learning. He is miles ahead of Sanchez on a much younger team and is a tough kid who is the ant-Cassel.

Sanchez = Cassel. Good defense and offense around them... and they are servicable.

They aren't playmakers and they don't have the 'it' factor.

Before that draft, I had Stafford #1 and Freeman #2 at QB. Freeman was a risk, but at least he had the talent. Sanchez was a risk with little upside.

Serious, drought of talent in the position now a days. IMHO.
You act like there weren't any shitty QB's "back in the day".

I remember at the time wanting Raji. But sure that would have been a reach at the time... Didn't stop Scott from taking a reach anyways.

To answer your original question, I think both Mark (not that I was ever high on him. Says more of what I think of Matt) and Josh would be much better. Matt Cassel is that bad at delivering the ball accurately.

We would still have no pass rush and no QB.
