He seems like he has the "it" factor.

Or maybe I am just desperate to see a real QB suit up for the Red & Gold.
The other thing a lot of guys are probably not privy to is that this highlight film is strictly his junior year. It's not a career highlight video, haven't found one of those yet. That's scratching the surface of his junior year. There is another of just his senior year I believe and I don't know whether or not there is one of his sophmore year.

Your evaluation of him is biased because you're an Iowa fan.

So I'll ask again, hoping I eventually get an answer:

Why was Stanzi a 5th round pick?
Been answered many a time buddy. Maybe in this one, maybe in the
"Cassel out for the season maybe" thread.

I dont care to read scouting reports. Ive seen him play in the PS and in college and his ar is well above average.

Milkman was the first person to label his arm as "plus arm" ...I would have but I wanted to wait for someone else to say it...or else I would just get labeled a homer.

This is surely a situation where my fandom may well be getting in the way, but I still think that the RB could have made a more focused effort to get OOB instead of making that cut inside.
All in all, if he still had the TO he tried to save on the previous play (that wasnt shown on that video) we could have won that game.

I've seen two years of Andrew Luck, and I'm not a Stanford fan.

So I guess it's not that obvious.

This team is doomed for eternity if we don't draft Nate Kaeding in the 2nd round.

Can they include the yardage of after the ball hits the crossbar into his throwing distance max?

Even though I posted it on another board, Ill own up to it.

I wanted to draft Nate in the third round that year.

That kid would kick 65 and 70 yard field goals in pregame (of course they weren't with a rush or anything) and from 60, he would hit most of them from either hash mark.

He was an amazing college kicker.

Oh well.

PS: Ricky wants his letterman jacket back. Wash it and return.
So the game was played in the rain, the RB's kept slipping and didn't move the ball. The receivers dropped tons of balls, and the opposing team was JACKED. If a RB didn't slip, they made shoestring tackles and really covered our receivers very well. They completely sold out on the pass, it was our only chance, and it killed us b/c EVERYONE played terribly. It was NW's best game of the year. When Persa came out slinging, he REALLY put fire into that team. Cool how it didn't show any of the scoring drives Stanzi led.

Do you really think Dalton didn't have bad games in college?

Given the situation on that play, I don't think the pass to the RB was a bad decision, necessarily, though throwing the ball away might have been a better decision.

In the moment he probably hoped the RB could get OOB, but their was a lot of ground to cover for the RB to get there.

The LB on that play had the angle and had the RB dead to rights.
The RB looked to make a move to get some space to run to the sideline.
Had he not, he had no chance to get there.

He never had a chance anyway, but he did head to the sidelines.

It was a poor decision and that was one of the knocks on Stanzi was decision making. He also took a sack earlier in that drive which you can't do.

You trying to make a 5th round pick into Joe Montana is laughable though.
