Only because Colin had one game then Alex Smith did. Give Alex Smith 10 games too, it'll only be fair. /truefans

I mean really. The guy had Mike Nolan and Mike Singeltary as his HC, 6 different OCs in as many years, two of which were Jimmy Raye and teo guys who had never calked plays before. on top of that he suffered a significant shoulder injury. When Alex came out of Utah, spread QBs were nit nearly as commin. Nolan at that time was completely I'll equipped to develop Smith and threw him in way before he was ready. As for Singeltary? He is flat out reeruned.

As soon as Harbaugh got into SF, and without a full offseason. Smith lead the 9ers withing two special teams gaffs (against a very evenly match and stout Giants team) from the Super Bowl.

It amusing watching you asshats bash a guy you know nothing about, aside from the cherry picked stats that go much further in making you look cork on your fork stupid, than actually proving anything at all.

But I'm sure you site Turner, Martz, and Raye as negatives...

I would.

Mike Martz has been a cluster**** since his "leave of absence" with the Rams. He's no longer in the league.

It's tough to defend Norv's decision to leave the 49ers for the Raiders.

And Jimmy Raye? Oh, Dude.

The Raye thing was a drunk Sorter being angry.

Martz at least 1.5 good years with the Bears.

Norv, eh. Probably overrated as a playcaller and underrated as a coach (although probably justly rated as a HC).

It's sad to see what happened with Martz. I can't explain it. I've never asked around and I probably will someday, but I wonder if the guy is bi-polar or suffering from some sort of mental disease. He went from being absolutely brilliant to being absolutely dumb, literally overnight.

Norv's weird. I don't know how that guy keeps getting hired in the NFL, especially when guys like Buddy Ryan and Marty and Sam Wyche or even Al Saunders, can't. His only true success was with Dallas during the Glory Years and since then, he's been living off of his reputation.

Hey, more power to him but I just don't get it.

Totally agree on Martz and Norv.

Norv is the antithesis of clutch when playcalling for a team when he's the HC.

The NFL is full of dumb ****s, this isn't obvious to you?

An entire wing of Foxboro's coaching office got hired to jobs they never deserved.

While Martz is generally considered a good OC Alex Smith never played a down in the regular season for him. He was on IR the entire year.

He made possitive strides under Turner until he bailed to SD in the eleventh hour. Fact: Smith never played under Martz. He re-injured his still not fully healed shoulder in the preseason and missed the entire 2008 season. Jimmy Raye was a dinosaur who didn't do jack for the 49erss and was fired by the team. so in Mike Singeltary's utter reerunation he chose quarterbacks coach Mike Johnson to run the offense. He was so bad they had to bring in another guy to help him call the plays.

Alex Smith is KC's staring QB now. Some of you may want to actually "try" and get the history right before you break out the Kleenex.

What, so are you some dinosaur racist?
GTFO. ****ing dinos deserve some respect from people that aren't bigots.

Seriously, the Compys are all like "**** off, Comixus".
