Chase Daniel shouldn't play a single second half snap. With his contract, his job is secure. Tyler Bray... it would be nice to get him reps, but let's be real here. He's going to make the roster guaranteed, even if that's the practice squad.
The one guy fighting for his job is Stanzi. He deserves a shot to earn a right to keep it on the field. If you're only going to give him 1 or 2 drives, then why waste your time? Just cut him. But I'd rather we kept him as our #3 guy and kept Bray on Practice Squad. |

Stanzi has been in the league for 2 seasons now. He's dog shit... move on. He's the 4th string QB and there's no way you play him over the #2 and #3 QBs. |

If you're going to keep him, give him a shot to earn his stripes. You can't call a guy dog shit based on the limited opportunities he was given under the Pioli regime. Bray would be fine on the Practice Squad. He'll easily clear waivers and he needs time. And given that I have no confidence at all in Chase Daniel right now, I'd rather Stanzi be the next in line in a pinch than Bray. |

You really think Bray makes another teams 53 at this point sight unseen? I'm not saying you're wrong...but I'd need to see more in the pre-season games to feel strongly one way or another.

He was an undrafted rookie. This debate happens every year and these guys always clear the practice squad.

I like the idea of grooming the kid. The idea that he's a risk to not make a practice squad roster is nonsense. If any team believed he was first round talent, he would've been drafted. Period.

Again, Bray's play isn't surprising anyone. Everyone knew he could throw. He wasn't drafted because of his attitude. You think teams are completely changing their mind because he behaved for a month? |

Teams will be cutting 3rd and 4th round picks of this year's draft. Quality veterans like Vick could get cut. An undrafted rookie like bray isn't on anyone's hot list. Nobody outside of kc is talking about bray. Just another example of people mistaking kc buzz for general buzz. Nobody is talking about bray outside of kc and I highly doubt that teams suddenly think his attitude turned around in just a few months. |

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...,d.b2I&cad=rja Weaknesses Bray has two major weaknesses that I see when I've watched him. The first is correctable, and the second is a gamble. Bray is mind-numbingly inconsistent with nearly everything he does. From footwork to reading defenses, Bray is all over the charts in terms of performance. The second weakness is his attitude. Bray is rough around the edges of his tremendous raw talent. He knows how to set his feet properly and deliver the ball to exactly the right spot, but he doesn't do it all the time. Bray's accuracy wasn't all his receivers' fault, and I trace it mostly to bad footwork. Bray knows where to go with the football, but he'll regress and still stare down receivers. I've seen him work the pocket masterfully in some games on some plays, while in others it's as if he's got no feel at all. Bray has a great deal of talent, but a lot to work on. What concerns me more than his inconsistencies is his attitude. He doesn't seem to have a team-first, killer attitude. His interviews make him look like an arrogant college kid that has been given a lot in his life. He doesn't come across as a leader, and his off-season issues at Tennessee underscore the point. Bray comes across as a ultra-talented kid that never really works for anything. A team wants a quarterback who is the hardest worker on the team, and someone that's a leader. Right now, that's not Tyler Bray. A team drafting Bray needs to be careful.
