No, Dex's role would need to be an underneath option, like a Wes Welker. He needs to get a ball in open space and make something happen. He's not fast, but he's definitely quick enough, and his 3-cone shows he has the quick twitch moves and creativity to make things happen. Problem is, he hasn't shown he can do it on the NFL level.
I would like to see what Reid can do with him, but if the stories are true, then I don't like what I'm hearing. Thing is, I don't think it surprises anyone. For some reason, he's always had some of that self-promotional attitude.
