Yeah. Guys like Tamba Hali and Dwayne Bowe and Jamaal Charles can produce under "bad coaching".

McCluster was an odd pick at the time, and he's shown that he doesn't have the speed or quickness to survive when he always goes down on the first contact.

No, as of what I've seen, you're right. He doesn't.

Again, I think the deck is stacked against him. I just disagree when people say he lacks quickness or agility.

Again, he's lacking a critical skill. He's built a mansion on sand, essentially. All the marble floors and vaulted ceilings in the world don't mean a thing if the foundation crumbles. Without balance, I don't care how quick he is out of his cuts or how clever he is with the ball in his hands - he can't execute any of it.

Do you think he has that balance? Why? We've seen him get tripped up by a simple hand to the thigh pad. If he had it, he'd have shown it even via a simple broken tackle here and there and he's had several opportunities to show just that. Instead, he gets taken down for a 4 yard gain. If you don't, believe he has it, why do you think he's going to suddenly acquire it under a new staff?

He doesn't lack quickness or agility. He's able to get open. What he lacks is speed and elusiveness. He's half tackling dummy and half folding chair once he has the ball. He's a tiny guy that can't outrun some linebackers, much less defensive backs.
