Yup. There’s been a clear disconnect with their communication and it happened last year.

It’s a trend at this point

Miscommunication? That play was just lackadaisical effort on Hardmans part.

Hardman, by all accounts, has had a great TC, and “ran way” with the WR2 job. I’m not going to overreact to literally one ****ing play in a meaningless preseason game.

I’m not concerned with what happened last year or the year before. When it’s a pattern this year, then I’ll be concerned.

He's still struggling to get ready to catch the ball.

This is a pattern.

Hardman dropped a pass against the 49ers that cost us a 1st down and almost led to an interception.
It also looks like Toub is looking for options at the returner spot. Hughes, Pringle, and Shepherd are all possible returners now. They even tried Dieter returning against San Fran. I guess Andy is trying to find an excuse to keep Dieter around. It's pass time for the Mahomes Buddy plan to end imo. smh

Hardman has tons of potential, but this is the year he has to take the next step.

Watching it again, I'm really not a fan of those route concepts.

It's Reid so I'm sure there's a reason for it. I suppose flooding the middle against zone would probably leave one of those guys open, but against man it just creates a jumbled mess.

Let him play a few games as the 2 wr before we go nuts on his shitty play. He hasn't played a down yet in that role.

See, this is why we need Gehrig Dieter.

No WR's chemistry with Mahomes is as good as Dieter's!

Hardman & Mahomes have never been on the same page.

Hardman is a good gadget player/return specialist.
