How ****ing cool is that our basically 2nd year QB, in the biggest game of his life, while still struggling and trying to pull out of arguably two worst quarters of football he's played as a Chief - has the presence of mind to basically be the coach and call the absolute perfect ballsy play?

And not only that - to continually coach Watkins and Hill in the huddle to run it a certain way. And then to drift back way farther than the play called for, because he knew he had to, and still execute perfectly - releasing the ball like 1/10th of a second before getting hit?

That is GOAT legendary stuff they'll be talking about forever.

I watched them break the play down several times.
It's Hills responsibility to fake the Safety at the last second on which way he's running that makes the play.

When I watch the Wasp play, I often chuckle at the clip that showed Montana, Favre, and Brees watching the game together. At the end of the play, Montana says to Tyreek, "Get down, knucklehead." I don't why, but that's hilarious to me.

This reminds me, I wanted to make a "poster" with this play drawn out and named and super bowl 54 and over it 65 toss power trap and Super Bowl 4. I'd print and send one to someone who made that for me

Wow, I just now seen Pat explaining the second INT he threw. He intentionaly threw behind Hill to attempt to slow him down, and save him from the big hit...WHAT A ****ING GUY! That's my QB, I want that guys mentality as my teammate.

It seemed like Brees understood the play concept and how Hill got that wide open, while Favre and especially Montana did not.

If I remember right, Brees was stunned.

Here's Brees, Farve and Montana. It starts after the 2nd and 15 with Montana talking about Mahomes short arming it to Tyreek on the play that was overturned.

LOVE it when Montana's eyes light up right after the go ahead score while they're reviewing - "What happens if you get the ball on the 6" line?" I always think about that. I'm pretty sure we go for it - and man what a moment it would have been, assuming my heart doesn't explode.
