Alex Smith did, does, and will always suck.

OutSTANDING logic.
add to that: Morgan only survived 5 games of the 2011 season. He and Alex were starting to look good together too.

They do need to continue getting JC touches... but, when guys like Manning and Rodgers can score in about 2 minutes, ToP is less important than scoring points. SF had the ball for 38:35 against the Packers, but still needed over 28 points to win.

One issue with that.

2011 the 49ers averaged 24 points a game. (including playoffs where they averaged 26.5)

2012 in 10 games with Alex starting they averaged, wait for it.....24 points a game.

Some of that ( I am sure not a huge amount) was ST and defense scoring but its 24 points a game.

Do all points have to be passing TD's and yardage to count?

Your exact words in earlier posts - "He couldn't score 24 points".

Well, that was their team average for 2 seasons under Smith. Pretty damn consistently too.

And in 2013 to this point, 23.6 points per game by KC overall.

Eeerie.

Second, I'm not sure why you are only mentioning 3 of his 13 starts.

Third, he's throwing 59% with 13 TD and 7 INT over those 13 starts, with 631 yards rushing and 5 rushing TD's.

I don't think any of that equals a 13 PPG game swing.

In the 29 starts we keep referencing for Alex, you know how many times the defense gave up more than 24 points?

Three times.

Know how many times it's happened in Kap's 13 starts?

SEVEN.

You're going to blame that on 7 INT's over 13 games?
The Niners D has been giving up more PPG since Kaepernick started because his offense doesn't give the D much time to rest. With Kaepernick its either a quick 3 and out, an interception/fumble, or a deep bomb for a TD.

Just the facts, ma'am. His defense has carried him. If that's discrediting him, so be it.

Great.

I guess we'll see soon enough if he can do it when necessary.

Top 10 in passer ratings the last two years. Best win %.

Alex rolled up about 60 million dollars from the NFL... and all your sorry ass can do is talk shit about him on this and other KC boards. You're no better than Alice Smiff was... RIP.

Suck on that shit, you ****ing hater queer.

Probably should have stopped while you were ahead. It's a lot easier to remove the defensive scoring from a 3 game stretch versus a 29 game stretch.

I did the math yesterday, and IIRC, we're closer to 17 PPG from the offense.
