Nominees for the 2009 "Best Chiefs Post of the Year" - AKA The DT Award

Ok Gang...

This will be the 2nd of 5 total categories for the CP Academy Awards. This category wins the prestegious DT award for 2009.
This post needs to fall into one category only, the Chiefs. Whether it was breaking news that hit this board before anywhere else, something insightful that started a large discussion or something stupid, (AKA THE DEAL IS DONE) type of post. Anything Chiefs related goes so let's get started.

You can see that the rules from yesterdays thread apply here as well:
But just in case your and idiot, I'll copy and paste them below:

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=220002

Quote:
Nomination threads in each category will be open for 48 hours. The first poll is open for 3 days. The final poll in each category is open for 6 days. All nominations and polls are public.

You must cut and paste the nomination post into the nomination thread, plus a link to the original page(to keep any shenanigans from occurring).

Nominations that will make it to the poll round will be decided by how many nominations a post gets. A 2nd nomination by a poster, a 3rd nomination etc. We will keep the tally in the original starting post.

Any post from January 1st 2009 to present is eligible in its own category.

Any dupe accounts or new accounts(less than 5 posts) are ineligible to vote and their votes will be discarded. Any nominee caught being a part of something like this will be disqualified. We will keep all graft and bribery out in the open. All bribery/graft is allowed and encouraged and will only pertain to that thread in which the bribe/graft was posted. Any new poll or thread means new graft and or bribes. We will keep track of the known bribes and graft in the opening post. Once nominated, it’s official and the nominee or the person who nominated the nominee can’t withdraw. There is no dropping out and throwing support to another nominee/poster.

The "Humor" nomination thread will be out on Friday. This will be run by academy member Mr. Flopnuts.
The "DC" nomination thread will be out ASAP. This will be run by academy member RedneckRaider.
The "Poopuri" nomination thread will be out Monday. This will be run by academy member Pestilience.

The whole point of this is to have some fun, entertainment and distraction from how much our team sucks. You think it’s stupid, fine and dandy. But, please don’t anyone take this too seriously. I know some will really want to earn that “Logical Memorial Award” but let’s don’t stray too far from the entertainment. Stick to having some fun with this idea.
The Second nominee category is the 2009 “Chiefs” Post of the Year, the “DT Award”. Let the games begin and have fun!

On a side note, I'd appreciate any assistance in tracking this throughout the day. I have two meetings around lunchtime and will be out for a while. I'll catch up when I get back but if someone could help out a little and PM me a list around 2:00 p.m. cst, that would be awesome...
If not, I can catch up I'm sure.
TIA

The nominees are:

1. Pestilence: Post 11 +1
http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...4&postcount=11

2. Bugeater: Post 15 +2
http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...0&postcount=15

Let's just say it was a lot easier to find dumbass posts than ones that actually contributed anything.

This'll be a tough one. The dumbass posts ratio seem to overshadow the awesome posts in this BB.

1. Fire Pendergast and bring in a competent 3-4 defensive coordinator.

2. Hire an offensive coordinator and let him call the plays.

3. Hire a QB coach and actually let him coach the QBs.

4. Bring in competition at the QB position. And I mean actual competition...not another QB that will get 10 reps throughout the offseason and then Cassel gets the job handed to him.

5. Draft a ****ing playmaker in the 1st round. I better not see a defensive lineman or offensive lineman with a top 5 pick.

6. Be active in Free Agency. I know that if it's uncapped that there won't be a lot (if any) good free agents out there. But if it is a capped year....then we better be filling ****ing holes this offseason.
