F'n right!

I agree that 15-20 touches isn't happening for him, no way.

People said they'd be thrilled to see Tyreek's volume as a rookie, and that was 5-6 touches per.

McKinnon's best season here, 2022, was 8 touches per.
Clyde's 2023 volume as the primary option behind Pacheco was 6 touches per

I would expect no more than 5-6. Mitchell and Hunt are going to get some play too.

The Alvin Kamara comp is interesting bc of his ability as a receiving weapon, but I see shades of a guy I loved last season that ironically is the same exact weight and height as this kid: Bucky Irving.

Keontay Ingram got waived today so that's another guy out of the way.

Interms of what impact he could make is anyone's guess. Imo he has all the fundamentals to be a special player for this team.

1. His balance, shiftiness and agility stand out straight away. He just seems to glide out there and and cut so fast and fluidly.

2. He's both quick and fast.

3. He has tools around like the jook move, spins etc.

4. He could do a variety of things running thr ball. End around, outside zone, inside the tackles, on the goal-line, hit a home run etc.

5. And of course he can catch swing passes, wheel routes, lineup in the slot and catch the ball downfield.

Imo he's the most exciting skill player we've drafted since Tyreek. IF the skills we see on tape translate to the nfl stage then I see no reason why he can't be a star for us.

Some comps would be Alvin Kamara, Le'veon Bell and Devon Achane imo.

I love how this starts with saying that Keontay Ingram is no longer in the way but ends with an Alvin Kamara comparison.

In camp Andy loves to push the vets out front. Smith not having Ingram in the way IS a good thing for the start of camp that's all.

And I'm not saying he's definitely gonna be a star. I'm saying he's got similar skillsets to those guys. Whether he reaches their level is up to him and the work he puts in.
