Taylor's not supposed to be all that physical either.

That was the knock on him, but the Chiefs worked on that aspect, and he did show that he was a more physical downhill blocker last year when he played two games at LT.

Some guys just get graded out low, I remember I liked Chris Clemons when he came out of Georgia and he went undrafted and has still had a solid career.

But by everyone? Granted guys just slip sometimes, I remember CJ Mosley falling a few rounds further than anyone imagined.

I'm just really surprised that he's still here, I was always impressed with him on the field and his combine was fine.

Hope we get the steal, I think he can play MLB for us, his brother does it and I think he's faster than his brother.

That was another guy that I liked quite a bit.

Nice pick in the 6th IMO.

Playing in the shadows of All-American offensive tackle Chad Rinehart, Keith actually developed into a better athlete than his more heralded teammate. The massive drive blocker with an incredibly long wing span and hands the size of baseball mitts has excellent quickness for a player his size.

Needing to dispel concerns about his character and work ethic, it was commonplace to see Keith be the first player at the team facilities in the mornings, working on a cardio program that kept his weight in check and helped improve his overall flexibility.

Blessed with natural strength, he produced one of the better performances in the weight room at the NFL Combine, putting up 225 pounds 31 times. In a recent workout for NFL teams on campus, he clocked 4.98 seconds in the 40-yard dash and produced a 32-inch vertical jump with a 9'5" broad jump. That is impressive for any athlete, much less one of his size.

As much as we have seen everyone on the line moved around the past few years, I guess we all have been trained to believe that is the way it works. And you hear it said alot that a guy who is soso on the left would be a good RT. Hence the reason that many of us think moving McIntosh to the right would be a good move. Arguably, McIntosh was the best tackle we had last year, and everyone just wants to keep him starting and if not at LT, then where?

I don't know.

How about Houston?

Hammock Parties
04-27-2008, 01:49 PM
Analysis Positives: Lean, athletic build. ... Good initial quickness. ... Able to generate consistent separation due to his quickness out of his breaks. ... Sets up defenders well and can get behind the defense for the big play. ... Tracks the ball well over his shoulder. ... Will compete in a crowd for the ball. ... A natural with the ball in his hands. ... Elusive after the catch and shows vision winding through the defense to generate positive yards after the catch.

Negatives: Level of competition is a concern. ... Great production early in his career and as a senior, but struggled with consistency. ... Viewed by some as a very good return specialist who can help at receiver, rather than the preferred very good receiver who can help as a return specialist.

I'd like to see Ali Highsmith in the 7th. A big time college player who lacks a bit on measurables, but has played big in big games. At the very least I'd think he's a good special teamer.

he made plays with Dorsey played but disappeared without him...if we take him Dorsey will go "I see I have to carry your ass again"

I'm not sure Highsmith will get drafted honestly so we might be able to get him in UDFA.

Dude....players make "moves" along the Oline all the time. Versatility, size, and strengths of certain players can make them a better choice to play guard or tackle....depending on the type of offensive scheme a college teams run. Smart players....GOOD players along the Oline....will be able to adapt to new positions and schemes with relative ease. They do it all the time.

It's not as if we won't have at least a little bit of time for them to make what should be, for them (given what is being said about them,) pretty easy transitions.
