The Buffalo Bills select Anthony Jefferson, Safety UCLA.

After losing Jairus Byrd and Da'Norris Searcy in back to back seasons, the Bills are looking for a new starter at safety to pair with Aaron Williams.* Jefferson is a player who can cover and will hit hard, and possesses a similar skillset to Antonio Allen, whom Rex Ryan drafted in the seventh round and has started at both safety and corner for the Jets.

Round 6, Pick 207 should belong to Tennessee and not New England. (Akeem Ayers trade, New England got Round 7, Pick 219)

Chip Kelly likes athletic players with size on D who can be put in multiple positions. This guy has talent but needs to stay out of trouble. He started his college career at Florida but had to transfer to Norfolk State. He's played DE, OLB, TE, and gunner on STs. http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=290988&page=34

The Philadelphia Eagles select Lynden Trail, DE/OLB, Norfolk State

according to the above:
1) 168 should go to Tampa, not New England
2) Carolina has an additional comp pick (174) for two total in the fifth round, which ends with Baltimore's pick 176.

For the 6th round:
1) NYJ 6th rounder goes to Seattle
2) New England's natural pick (208) goes to Tennessee
3) Remove Carolina's pick that is in our draft considered 213 (apparently according to nfl.com it was actually the 5th round pick?)

All the prior rounds are correct.

The Baltimore Ravens select Markus Golden, OLB Missouri.

After a staggering fall due to a poor combine showing, the productive and high-motor Tiger is finally selected to fill out the pass rushing depth chart of the Baltimore Ravens. Ozzie Newsome always goes chalk and this time it pays off in spades, as a Day 2 talent falls to him at a position of need after pick 150. Terrell Suggs is on his last achilles and the Ravens have little depth at the spot.

So why a receiver and why Harper. First Fitzgerald isn't getting any younger the heir apparent needs to be found now. Why Harper his stats weren't impressive this year. Well that's because his QB Derrick Carr graduated last year. Harper did his best but there was inconsistent play at the QB position. The Cardinalls feel he has potential to be a better Pro than he was in college.

I was going to take Golden for Buffalo but some stuff happened in front of me that made me panic. I had to have Jefferson and I felt a lot better about it when Amos went shortly after. I already liked Jefferson a lot catching some UCLA games as a hitter but seeing how he was able to man up and pretty much shut down Jaelin Strong sold me as a must.

Yeah, and BTW I hate Baltimore and could totally see them sit back and have a player like Golden fall into their laps.

I really like Golden. I thought he even stood out in 13 when Sam and Ealy were making all the noise. Just a really good football player.

Please PM for me. Can't PM at current moment.

http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2015/4/3/8331547/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-workout-will-tye

The Kansas City Chiefs are one of a few teams showing interest in a small school tight end, Stony Brook's Will Tye. Fortunately, this might be more than a simple proverbial 'no stone unturned' sort of check-in.

Judging by unofficial pro day times from scouts at Stony Brook, Tye registered 4.47 and 4.50 in his two 40-yard dash attempts, per student newspaper The Statesman. For reference on tight ends, the fastest time at the NFL Combine was Mycole Pruitt of Southern Illinois at 4.58, and a top prospect like Maxx Williams registered a 4.78. Even Williams was third at the Combine, which tells you just how rare even that speed is for the position, let alone times like Tye's.

Ngobody's going to confuse him with Haloti Ngata, but with the big man's departure to Detroit, Chris Canty is the only proven player at defensive end for the Ravens. Drew comes in with a leg up over a lot of other rookies having already played in Georgia's 3-4 for multiple seasons.

The Patriots lost a couple of corners in the offseason and have to retool at the position. They added some low-key free agents and took Josh Shaw in round 3. Now they look to establish more depth with a corner that is long and lanky but extremely physical, sticks like glue, and is a hell of a good tackler. He also happened to have 17 PBUs last season.

The Washington Redskins are relieved to see the player they should have taken in round 5 still available with this selection. Chris Chester isn't a very good player and they overspent for Browns cast-off Shaun Lauvao last offseason. Glowinski adds toughness to the Redskins line to open up holes for Alfred Morris and improves the pass protection for whoever Washington decides to trot out this season at the position.

Just a couple quick pieces on my duel 5th rounders:

The Chiefs still need depth at TE. I wasn't able to land Koyack, who I've been targeting, so I instead trust Harris to take another step in developing as a #2. Meanwhile, I was able to secure possibly THE most athletic TE in this draft out of the middle of nowhere. Running a 4.50 at over 260 lbs is Clowney territory, so I'll take a shot on that all day.

Meanwhile, I've finally managed to land a huge-bodied backup for Poe. I'm not done there, but it's a really good start. Williams is a force of nature at 350 lbs, and allows the Chiefs to trot out another massive body whenever Poe is unavailable.

The Buffalo bills select Max Garcia, OL Florida.

After missing out on the D-Line help they were looking for, Buffalo returns their attention to the O-Line. Garcia turned a lot of heads at the Senior Bowl having stonewalled both Danny Shelton and Carl Davis at the Senior Bowl, and his tape backs it up. Garcia is a road grader who has started at both Maryland and Florida having manned guard, tackle and center positions. He adds a lot of power to Buffalo's line, and they may have upgraded both guard spots with this draft.

My general opinion is it only makes sense to take a developmental QB when you have someone to keep him on the bench. I realize I'm the minority opinion on that. Have no issues with Bonner in the 6th and prefer that over Petty or Hundley on Day 2. JMO.

The Buffalo Bills select Cody Fajardo, QB Nevada

The Bills have had meetings with just about every QB in the draft not named Mariota or Winston. Although I'm loathe to draft a QB I don't feel is worth a first round pick just on principle, I feel like a Bills draft that didn't include a QB this year would be a bit dishonest. Fajardo is probably the QB I feel most palatable after the only real QB in this draft, and with a second sixth-round pick I'm obligated to turn in the card. Fajardo threw the ball second best of all the QBs at the combine by my eyes and led a pretty impressive comeback (which fell short) against Garrett Grayson's more-talented Rams this season. Buffalo has been to Nevada's Pro Day in addition to meeting with Fajardo at other outlets this offseason, so I do believe he is on their radar.

With the 195th pick, the Houston Texans select Andy Gallik, OC, Boston College.

The Texans cut ties with Chris Myers, one the games elite centers, in the offseason, which means that former 4th round pick Ben Jones will likely be elevated to the starting spot. Gallik can come in and provide immediate depth with future starting potential.

Who's down for a small UDFA game?

As soon as the final pick is made in this draft, you get to elect FIVE players your franchise would scoop up in UDFA. It would be purely first come, first serve, just like the actual draft.

Anybody else want a piece of that?

Also, as we near the end of this thing, a little love is in order. This has been the most enjoyable mock we've had as a group since Drafturbatorism reigned around 2009 or so.

First, love for Pesty, who has done a great job, as he always does. Second, including new blood the past couple years had paid off. Chiefscafan has come along nicely, kccrow and CleveSteve have been excellent, and all three have been a boon for conversation throughout this thing.

On a forum that largely doesn't care about the draft, this thread delivered extremely well.

I agree great job Pest glad I've been given a chance these last two years to participate. Thanks direkshun for the kind words also. Though I don't agree with every chief pick you've hit on at least four picks in this draft. I've been saying with the addition of grubs as a draft pick, hopefully he lives up to the hype, this is what I feel Dorsey needs to do as well. With this we are a contender for more than an afc west championship it puts us in the conversation for the whole thing.

So about your chief picks.

I like the center think it's kind of high for him I'd hope in the real draft they could trade down and still get him.

I love the two receivers Smith and Hardy

I also like the ILB Jones as I said we need a thumper with swagger he fits this mold. Though I personally prefer Perryman he is good value at this position.

The rest I'm not too familiar with but overall great job Direkshun.

Ok so for the explanation. Competition is allways good he is trying to make the transition to a position he hasn't played in three years , but he is a tremendous athlete. At this point he is a great value pick. Plus to save a roster spot he can play special teams and even be an emergency QB.

The Baltimore Ravens select Ibraheim Campbell, Safety, Northwestern

The Ravens nab one more player for their much-maligned secondary in Campbell... The hard hitting, sure-tackling in-the-box safety is rated much higher than this in the general consensus, but he does have his warts. He is a liability in coverage and doesn't have great speed, but he is a stellar tackler and drops people in their tracks. He will provide depth at safety and contribute on special teams.

Give me a break. It's my first Saccopoo pick of the draft, and for the bottom of the 6th round, that's not a bad value at all for me to take a player at this position just to say, "Welp, I tried, so consider your team need addressed." I like him better than both of the ILBs that Direckshun took for the Chiefs, too.

I could probably wait to get him, but I'm a big fan. I want to make sure I can get him.

The Colts select Justin Manton, Punter/Kicker, Louisiana Monroe

The guy was 20-22 on FGs, (2 for 2 beyond 50 yards) and in 2013 averaged 46 yards per punt.

He may be a guy you could let take over both duties and open up a roster spot while saving the team a lot of money. I'm intrigued.

The Colts save 5m on the 2015 cap and get a good player.

Fuck all of you. I had Zenner pegged for my Jets sixth round pick - until I realized they didn't have one.

I had Gallik pegged for my Seahawks here, followed by Waller. Now I am back to the drawing board and I only have 3G to do some quick research. You assholes.

The Seattle Seahawks select Laurence Gibson, OT, Virginia Tech

Gibson has great athleticism and length, but requires a lot of strength and technique work. Call him a project. Also, picking for the Seahawks is getting difficult simply because they are so stocked and have so many picks. I expect them to move up a couple times during draft day to target specific players they love.

RealSNR

The Packers select Nick Boyle, TE, Delaware

Beginning with Kyle Emanuel in the last round, the Packers have reached that phase of their board where all the FCS talent starts to creep into most of their selection decisions. Boyle is already a pretty good blocker, and he's an incredible athlete-- a top 3 at his position in the entire draft, I'd say. I think he could definitely be the Oscar Hammerstein to their current Richard Rodgers.

With the 211th pick, the Houston Texans select Rory "Busta" Anderson, TE, South Carolina.

The Texans look to continue to try to find talent to surround their QB carousel with. Anderson would be a day 2 to early day 3 selection if not for the injuries he suffered in college, namely multiple triceps tears. Anderson can be an effective move tight end that can create mismatch problems all over the field, if he can stay healthy.

True, but just continuing the draft isn't really realistic, even thought it would benefit my team.

I think we need a start time for free agency.
Then maybe allow people to only sign one UDFA ever 24 hours to give other people a chance.
