Alex played the game of his life and he was BETRAYED by the defense

Alex Smith dropped 44 points on the Colts and somehow still lost. Alex is a hero. 44 points can win you a SUPERBOWL. What happened to the best defense in the league? They sure weren't out there tonight. You could cut all of them and it wouldn't matter. What matters is having Alex.

Should they extend him, yes. The numbers being thrown around are insane no way should they do it for those numbers.

If I only told you that a team was outscored 35-6 at one point in a game and they lost would you say that the QB of the team that scored 6 likely shares some of the blame?

Some of us aren't blaming just Alex Smith for the loss, but we see him as part of the blame for not winning. When it was time to win, he didn't get it done, simple as that.
