Complete BS. People WERE trying to out neg each other. This isn't anything new. One poster claimed someone was a "homer" so that poster replied by referencing negative comments he/she made in the past. Then the original poster denied those neg comments. On another thread people were discussing how disgusted they were with the Chiefs and other sentimates like that. There was quite a bit of that going on so I made a comment about it that the board was pretty damn dark today. Nothing at all controversial. Nothing at all surprising. What is so freaking upsetting to you about that?

I called YOU an asshole, specifically, AFTER you told me to "shut the **** up" (or something like that). Another poster claimed that he was "the biggest asshole", but I didn't call him that. I commented that the conversation was shifting from "who hated the chiefs the most" to "who was the biggest asshole".

Yes, I'm optimistic on the Chiefs and the reason I'm here is because I'm a fan of Smiths, so I do chime in with my opinion on both of those topics. But what you call passive-aggressive "back-handed" comments are otherwise referred to as "respectful comments of an opposing opinion", where your comments are just plain aggressive, intolerant - clenched fist comments.

If you recall you and I recently talked about this. You were making a pretty damn good point to another poster, but he wasn't hearing it because your tone is so freaking confrontational. Dude... just put down your damn dukes.
