Is Chiefsplanet seriously going to outlive Twitter?

This might be destined for DC, but for some reason this will feel like a major achievement on this website if that happens.

Forums like this have taken a huge hit with social media. Out of the Tech, Life, Music, Baseball and Nintendo forums I was a part of in high school, it's amazing that this is the place that not only survived, but it still thriving (while outliving and far suprassing the Chargers, Raiders, and Bronco forum equivalents).

Cheers.

On every level it's been a total disaster.

There's one thing Musk should have learned early on – platforms built on unlimited "free speech" either die a quick death or linger in the purgatory of fringe websites burning a hole in their backers' pockets. Advertisers and investors want nothing to do with such sites, and the trolls quickly chase away any legitimate users.

Of course, it was never about free speech for Musk. The guy just wanted to shut down everybody who was making fun of him, so seeing it completely blow up in his face and make him the biggest laughing stock in the western world is extremely gratifying.
a year from now twitter will still be here and you'll still be bitching about the legendary elon musk because you hate capitalism, which ironically has given you the opportunity to do what you love to do...

you should move to north korea and tell us how much you ****ing love it

Oh. I also follow Elon Musk. He's quite interesting and has a self-deprecating sense of humor.

Today he posted, "Do you know how to make a small fortune in social media? Start with a large one!"

This is what I do as well. I have lists and don't get into the politics BS so Twitter is a ****ing great resource.

Why on earth would a top performer, who can get hired anywhere, stay through all this chaos w/o even being offered a pay bump?

I bet he's down to a bunch of boot-licking sycophants who can't code for shit, and some H1B visas who get deported if they quit.

So the shadow banning everyone complained about is back (or it never went anywhere).

Elon is slowly learning why sites that don't want to become shhhh have content moderation policies. His stans are not happy with this one at all.

I highly doubt it, twatter is one of those things that seem too big to fail

Its just going through the inevitable growing pains that come with restructuring, and flushing out all the lazy and entitled 30 and under types who made such a polarizing mess of it in the first place

You don't need any employees or external regulations or internal safety checks to run a 40 billion internet company.

This man will tell you how to do it...
