In case anyone needs it spelled out, we would play at a neutral site if the AFCCG ends up being Chiefs vs. Bills. All other scenarios abide by the usual rules (so any other game the Chiefs play will be at home).

Good point regarding booked flights and hotels for those of who have already either taken time off, however I wonder if there's anyone that could/would book flights/hotels for playoff weeks when they don't know what day their team would be playing and even if their team would be playing? I guess there has been some clinches already so there could be some who already booked a flight that Friday actually.

I guess I just don’t think some of you would be feeling the same if the shoe were on the opposite foot. I have a lot of sympathy for Bills fans here because it’s a really disappointing and jarring development in their season, and it’s not like they’ve been a franchise blessed with good tidings.

you can have sympathy but also want total emotion free fairness. Yes they've been cursed and that makes it even more sympathetic & painful. Also the timing sucks , maybe if it was game 3 or 4 in the season things could be shuffled easier. so yes we can have sympathy but still the burden of this should fall on Buffalo. It's their player...if they can't or don't want to go on yes we have sympathy but it's their call.

I get it completely and agree with you. But we legit have people pissing on their fans for being at the end of their rope. Some of the same who melt down in a GDT when we miss a ****ing extra point.

#1. It’s more like if Williams went down not Sneed. Oh and the starter he replaced is due back for the playoffs.

#2. I would just want the Chiefs to forfeit the game to allow us to move on to week 18 and prepare for the playoffs.

You know when bad shit happens in life, not everything is going to stop while you get acclimated. The bills still need to be paid. You deal the best you can and move on.

it's crazy man. I get it. I have a great friend who is a REAL Buffalo fan (see my thread from before Christmas). I remember the feeling of being cursed. I'm old. man what a shitty feeling. im still shocked we traded for mahomes pick. I can't believe we broke our curse. I do have sympathy. I do. if anyone can understand this. I think its us , the long term once cursed older fans. still no reason in my mind anyone else should bear a burden other than Buffalo though. and yes I am sympathetic.

I think making a decision that guarantees not having #1 seed would be ballsy.

Chiefs with Mahomes at QB do not need HFA to win postseason games. It might be an advantage for the defense to play on the road in postseason so that they could communicate with verbals.

It is nuts that Mahomes has never played a road playoff game since the years they are not the #1 seed has seen the #1 lose in the Divisional.

Now that the 2022 #1 seed is attainable, I want Chiefs to earn it, but I look forward to the time that Chiefs with Mahomes at QB plays on the road in postseason whenever that happens.
