Who’s had a colonoscopy?
Had my first the other day. All in all, not bad whatsoever. The buildup was much worse than the procedure itself. Glad it’s done for 5-10 years.

I had to coach a Hockey game on the other side of KC the evening before my colonoscopy, so I had no choice but to try to time when to take the first round and when we'd get home and not be too far off the mark in terms of what time I was supposed to do the first and second rounds of the sauce!!! Thank God there was no traffic.

And as much as I was sure the second round had zero chance of producing any more shit, I was wrong.

The day they schedule me for another colonoscopy is the same day I have a bidet installed...

Had my colonoscopy at 53. Everything was fine and I have no family history of colon cancer or other issues.


I recently turned 63 and since I didn't have issues before, my insurance company sent me a home test kit. Reading the info that came with the kit they've made significant progress in identifying pre-cancer and cancer without the whole colonoscopy thing. The caveat is you should see no blood when pooping. That's a no-go on the home test kit.
