I know the draft class sucks, but one of the draft shows I watch made a good point about the Chiefs and pick 31.

This year, with guys like Simmons, Conerly Jr., Jackson, and Ersery all in that range it's strangely a good spot in a bad class.

I know people will hate it, but I think them signing Humphries, Wills, or Smith and drafting one of those guys is as likely an option as any.

I cannot even begin to describe how much of a full blown disaster it would be to use your first rd pick to reach for another project LT from a tackle class that you yourself admitted sucks, especially considering what is going to be available to us.
