alnorth, do you always assign the W and L as the game progresses or are you working reverse mojo?

No, not reverse mojo. Thats who would win and lose if the game is rained out and ends right now. Sometimes its confusing when a tie is broken late with relievers out, so I keep track of who is the pitcher of record. I put up an (S) if a reliever comes in for a save situation.

But boo them for what? It was the best option available? If he had tried to take out his knees or something, then I say boo away and throw your beers at him too.

That's cool (and a very good idea). Just never noticed, I suppose.

This.

Once again the offense fails to show up.

4th and 5th starters are doing fairly well if they hold the other team to 4 or 5 runs.

Especially in the American League.

This teams problem isnt pitching. Its hitting.

Well we are throwing our 5 at their ace. I'd say this loss would be expected.

Yep.

You're not winning shit by scoring 2 runs. Aside from the general ineptitude at the plate, baserunning mistakes are the other legit gripe for this game.

I'd like to see Grienke tomorrow. He'd have his 4 days of rest and could take his place as the staff ace.

Jesus, you boo them because they are the other team!!

Why do you cheer for your team before the game even starts, they haven't done anything? Why do heckle the other team's batter, "hey batter,batter..." was he mean to your mother? Why do we call John Elway "horse face" when his face isn't really part horse?

You guys can't really be this detached from normal fandom, can you?
