Starship Troopers - Let's put together a crappy jumpy story line from one of the greatest sci-fi novels ever written. Then let's get bad actors. Last scene - Have camera fall back off the giant monster tied down and surrounded by hundreds of armed troops. Pan left to Doogie Howser who is setting up a mental link with the monster by touching it. Have Doogie say "It's afraid!" followed by soldiers cheers.

It's afraid? Really? Pure genius.

Actually, Starship Troopers isn't close to the worst. That distinction is reserved for Starship Troopers, 2, 3, and I believe IV.
