Personally, I don't think it is written in stone that Cassel will be back. He has done nothing in 3 years here to solidify that right. I know you don't see it that way but you are in the very minority whit your thoughts.

Crennel has already said if Orton played the final 2 games the way he did against the Packers, then he should have a shot at the starting QB spot next season. And for the most part, Orton did play pretty well the last 2 games.

The absolute worst thing this team needs is to have both Orton and Cassel in a battle for the starting QB spot. In fact, they have both shown what they can do. One of them needs to go, so the remainder of the snaps in OTA's and training camp can go to a young QB (Stanzi or whoever) so that we can develop a legit QB of our own.

Id like to keep both of them but if anybody goes its gonna be Orton especially if mcdaniels is here.

And as far as Cassell didn't do anything in three years, tell that to the probowl.

YES Tell how the story Mr. L.A. Chieffan how the mighty Cassel got to the probowl again? On the legs of Jamaal Charles and a cancellation from Brady.

Exactly Cassell has been forced to deal with a new OC every year, give him somebody he's comfortable with and you see what he can do.

Thanks for proving my point for me.
